Generate’s KiwiSaver funds are top performing for another quarter!

For the second quarter in a row, we are pleased to share our chart-topping results. Generate is proud to have the top ranking Aggressive and Moderate Funds for 10-year performance in the latest Morningstar report.

Generate’s funds were also called out as some of the ‘top performing KiwiSaver funds of the last decade’ in a recent article by stuff.co.nz. 

Stuff.co.nz reiterated what Generate has long been saying the importance of long-term performance, “when you’re comparing results, it is helpful to look over a long period of time, rather than focusing on short-term movements”. 

KiwiSaver is a long-term investment, so the performance of your fund types over a greater period should be something you take notice of whilst still remembering that past performance does not predict the future.

Generate’s KiwiSaver Growth fund also scored highly, maintaining its second place ranking with an annualised 10-year return of 8.3% versus the industry average of 7.6%.

Over a long period of time these small differences can really add up, thanks to the power of compounding returns. By the time you reach retirement the difference could potentially be tens of thousands of dollars.
